"The philosophy of the school room in one generation will be the philosophy of the government in the next"
This quote is trying to say that whatever is being taught to the students in the classroom is whats going to shape their view on the world. There could be a future president sitting in that room, or a future doctor, and they will take their knowledge with them and conform the world with it. You cant just instill just anything into students you never know who you are teaching ,what role you play in the future. You have to treat each student like they are someone important because they are the future. Lets take Biggie Smalls teacher for instance he told him that he was going to be nothing more than a garbage man, come to find out that he was going to be the greatest rapper of all time. You never know who you are teaching i bet President Obama's teachers didnt know that he was going to be the first black president ever, and my teachers dont know who i will be. I just hope that when i get to where ever im going that the philosophy that i have learned in the classroom is a poistive one that i can share with the world.
That is so true because because greatness belongs to those who dare to be great. As a child my mother always told me that I could be just as great as Dr.Martin Luther King Jr., Malcolm X.,or anyone else for that matter. God can use anybody he chooses to use. Most of the time its people who have come from humble beginnings. Greatness has nothing to do with race, color or money. Having money doesn't make one an authority. It is either your experiences or trials and tribulations that prepare you for greatness, and most of all patience. Samuel Nash III
